I am a portrait photographer from South Bend, Indiana. My studio is based in South Bend and I travel often for my photography. With a focus mainly on portrait and fashion photography, I have also done wedding photography occasionally.

My work is frequently published in international trade magazines, and I have also had multiple cover features. I work with many models and continually help them update and expand their portfolios.  Multiple websites use headshots that I have taken and I also have had photos published for news stories and multiple advertising outlets.

In 1990 I got to marry the woman of my dreams, and we have two fantastic children that we got to send to college (ok... they are fantastic most of the time). We also have one cat named Callie, even though she was supposed to be our daughter's cat.I entered the US Army out of high school and feel that that really helped me become the person I am today. During that time I served for a total of five years on active duty. I was involved in both Panama and the first Gulf War, as well as spending a year in the DMZ in Korea. It was during this time that I began my journey into photography. I wanted to show my family the cool places I was going to and the cultures of the countries I was visiting. This was well before the widespread use of the internet and cell phones... I know, how did we survive!?

Mostly I enjoy taking pictures that have feelings and meaning in them. I remember when I was little and the photographer would tell me to pose a certain way. Did anyone really like that? The pictures were never very good and we sure got some goofy expressions.

I want your photography sessions to be fun and enjoyable experiences. I will ask you questions about what the photos are for and what you are hoping to see from them. We will discuss the details of the shoot prior to picking up the camera in order to make your experience the absolute best it can be.
